Seton Hall Prep entered their tilt with Caldwell on Wednesday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They never let the Chiefs get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory. The Pirates might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by eight runs or more this season.

Seton Hall Prep's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Caldwell, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.
