Softball Recap: Silverton Comes Up Short on the Road Against Dallas

Silverton had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Dallas Dragons, falling 11-4. The Foxes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dragons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Zellee Herman was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Hannah Houts, who scored a run while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Coming up, Silverton will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against West Linn at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dallas, they will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Roseburg at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
