Columbus International made up a huge gap compared to their last game against East, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Lions put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 25-10 victory on Wednesday. The Lions' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Columbus International moved to 2-4 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for East, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Columbus International will venture away from home to challenge Briggs at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bruins' pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so the Lions' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for East, they will challenge Centennial at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Stars will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
