Girard lost against McPherson on Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Trojans fell 2-0 to the Bullpups. The Trojans' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-9.

Maddie Coester paced Girard's offense, picking up nine kills. Coester got some help from Emilee Hanks and her nine assists.

Girard's loss dropped their record down to 24-11. As for McPherson, they pushed their record up to 20-4-2 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Girard will host Baxter Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McPherson, they will head out to challenge El Dorado on Tuesday.
