Baseball Recap: Whitney Has No Trouble Against Liberty

Whitney was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Liberty on Thursday. The Whitney Wildcats were the clear victor by an 8-1 margin over the Liberty Patriots.

Whitney now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Liberty, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Wildcats face off against the Panthers at 9:45 a.m. on Friday. North Crowley will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Whitney surely won't give up without a fight. As for Liberty, they will face off against Wylie at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Liberty's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so Wylie's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
