Cosby had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They skirted past the McLean Highlanders 3-2. The victory was nothing new for the Titans as they're now sitting on five straight.

Cosby was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (116-106), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-22, 13-25, 26-24, 22-20.

Despite the defeat, McLean saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jose Eslinger had 13 digs and seven assists.

Cosby's win bumped their record up to 19-7. As for McLean, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-4.

Looking ahead, Cosby is taking a road trip to take on West Springfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. McLean does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
