Volleyball Recap: Corbin Takes a Loss

If Corbin was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Harlan County on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Redhounds fell just short of the Whitley County Colonels by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the fifth time they've come up short against the Colonels this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss last Tuesday.

Corbin dropped their record down to 24-15 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Whitley County, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 34-5 record this season.

Corbin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Whitley County, they will challenge Blazer on Monday.
