Basketball Game Preview: Sweet Home Huskies vs. North Marion Huskies

Sweet Home is on a nine-game streak of home losses, North Marion a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. We've got a battle between Huskies coming up.

Last Friday, Sweet Home took a blow against Stayton, falling 65-31. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 211th, while the Eagles are ranked 63rd).

Meanwhile, North Marion hadn't done well against Philomath recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. North Marion narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Philomath 51-48. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Huskies have posted since January 3rd.

Sweet Home's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for North Marion, their victory bumped their record up to 13-8.
