Volleyball Game Preview: Chippewa Falls Cardinals vs. Pulaski Red Raiders

The Chippewa Falls Cardinals will face off against the Pulaski Red Raiders at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Chippewa Falls had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Menomonie on Thursday. The Cardinals blew past the Mustangs 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-17, 25-11.

Chippewa Falls can attribute much of their success to Barrett Boisvert, who hit 83.3% for five kills and 12 digs and six aces, and Ilah Sinz, who had eight digs and four assists. The last time Boisvert's hitting percentage was this high was back in September.

Meanwhile, Pulaski entered their tilt with Sheboygan North on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Golden Raiders with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Red Raiders not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 25th (when they won 3-0).

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-9, 25-12.

Pulaski's win bumped their record up to 17-14. As for Chippewa Falls, their victory bumped their record up to 26-8.
