Football Game Preview: Sebastian River Sharks vs. Lincoln Park Academy Greyhounds

The Sebastian River Sharks are taking a road trip to face off against the Lincoln Park Academy Greyhounds at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sebastian River hasn't scored more than six points for three games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Sebastian River is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against South Fork on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Sharks came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 21-0. While losing is never fun, the Sharks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 265th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 58th).

Meanwhile, Lincoln Park Academy lost 28-6 to John Carroll Catholic on Monday.

Lincoln Park Academy now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Sebastian River, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

Sebastian River took a serious blow against Lincoln Park Academy in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, falling 28-0. Thankfully for the Sharks, Leah Murphy (who threw for 222 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 44 yards and one score) won't be suiting up this time.
