Basketball Recap: Glenbard West Takes a Loss

Glenbard West has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 64-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Palatine Pirates on Saturday. That's two games in a row now that the Hilltoppers have lost by exactly eight points.

Glenbard West's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Palatine, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glenbard West will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Proviso West at 7:30 p.m. on January 14th. As for Palatine, they will venture away from home to square off against Schaumburg at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
