Baseball Recap: Decatur Raiders vs. Marcellus Wildcats
The third road contest was the charm for Decatur, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They came out on top against the Marcellus Wildcats by a score of 7-3 on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Raiders: when they faced off against the Wildcats on Thursday, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.
Parker Wiggins spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on five hits.

On the hitting side, Rowan Bradford was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one triple. Decatur is undefeated when Bradford posts two or more runs, but 2-3 otherwise. Daniel Northrup also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.
The win was their first on the road, bumping their record up to 7-3. As for Marcellus, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.
