Basketball Recap: More Academy Comes Up Short

More Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by CHASE and fell 61-16. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 568th, while CHASE are ranked 282nd).

More Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for CHASE, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

More Academy has already played their next match (against Akron-Fairgrove), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for CHASE, they will be taking part in a tournament against Kalamazoo HomeSchool at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
