Softball Preview: Macon County Tigers vs. Greenbrier Bobcats
The Macon County Tigers are on the road again on Tuesday to play the Greenbrier Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. Greenbrier took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Macon County, who comes in off a win.
Macon County was not the first on the board last Friday, but they got there more often. They had just enough and edged Smith County out 6-5. The win was just what Macon County needed coming off of a 9-3 loss in their prior match.
Meanwhile, Greenbrier fell victim to Richlands and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Tornado. Greenbrier just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.
Macon County's victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Greenbrier, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.
