Softball Recap: Mapletown Takes a Loss

Mapletown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Jefferson-Morgan Rockets, falling 17-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rockets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-2 two weeks ago.

Mapletown's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Jefferson-Morgan, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Mapletown didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-2 loss against Avella on the 28th. As for Jefferson-Morgan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 7-4 defeat against West Greene on the 28th.
