Basketball Game Preview: Hitchcock-Tulare Patriots vs. Northwestern Area Wildcats

The Hitchcock-Tulare Patriots will head out to challenge the Northwestern Area Wildcats at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Hitchcock-Tulare has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Saturday, Hitchcock-Tulare earned a 50-39 win over Jones County.

Meanwhile, Northwestern Area waltzed into their game on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 50-49 W against the Coyotes.

Hitchcock-Tulare's victory bumped their record up to 7-13. As for Northwestern Area, their win bumped their record up to 9-11.

Hitchcock-Tulare was able to grind out a solid victory over Northwestern Area in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 66-57. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hitchcock-Tulare since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
