A look at seasonal statistical leaders and top performances the last two weeks in Ohio, New York, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Who scored over 40 points? Who grabbed over 20 rebounds? Who dished out 10 assists? Here's a look at the boys basketball leaders in points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks and more in the Great Lakes states this winter...plus a couple nuggets of note from the past two weeks.

Great Lakes Region Round Up

Who hit it big the last two weeks in the Great Lakes Region? Try...Isaac Fink.

The Springfield (Springfield, Minn.) senior guard has continued to score at will as the Tigers have won 13 straight. Fink netted a career-high 46 points in a 101-81 win over Minnesota Valley Lutheran (New Ulm, Minn.) on Feb. 16 and had a stretch of 11 straight games with 30 points or more.  



The Augustana (Ill.) College recruit has scored over 3,000 career points. He is averaging 31.9 points, 12.6 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game.

Fab Frosh:
Harvey (Katonah, N.Y.) freshman guard Everton Browne has adapted quickly to the varsity game. Browne, who averages 22.1 points, 9.1 assists and 5.8 steals, has had four straight games with 10 assists or more. His high-water mark is a 16-assist performance in a 74-55 win over Masters (Dobbs Ferry, N.Y.) where he also had 24 points and seven steals. Already has 486 points and 200 assists in 23 career games.

Rebounding Machine:
Churchill (New York, N.Y.) senior Nubian Craig has scored 10-or-more points three times this season. As for rebounds? He’s had 10-or-more in a game 17 times. Craig grabbed 30 rebounds (including 26 defensive) in a win over Brooklyn Friends (Brooklyn, N.Y.) on Feb. 13 and 23 in a loss to Columbia Prep (New York, N.Y.) on Feb. 21.  

Triple-Double:
Lafayette Central Catholic (Lafayette, Ind.) junior Carson Barrett continues to be a triple-double machine. Barrett notched his seventh and eighth triple-doubles of the season, respectively, in recent wins over Hamilton Heights (Arcadia, Ind.) (18 points, 15 rebounds, 15 assists) and Seeger (West Lebanon, Ind.) (14 points, 14 rebounds, 10 assists). He’s averaging 15.3 points, 10.9 rebounds and 8.4 assists.

Hot Streak:
Greenport (Greenport, N.Y.) junior guard Ahkee Anderson went for a career-high 50 points in an 82-52 win over Southold (Southold, N.Y.) in the Suffolk County Class C boys basketball final on Feb. 13. He also had nine rebounds and three assists. Anderson dropped 40 points the next game out in an 87-85 loss to Bridgehampton (Bridgehampton, N.Y.).

Double-Deuce:
Carlisle Christian Academy (Carlisle, Pa.) junior Luke Hurley scored 53 points in an 83-30 win over Blue Mountain Christian (Jonestown, Pa.). Hurley made one 3-pointer, six free throws and 22 two-point field goals.

50-Spot:
Indianapolis Shortridge (Indianapolis, Ind.) senior Andre Dickerson outscored the opposition when he exploded for 51 points (four rebounds, four assists and three steals) in a 99-48 win over Indiana Math & Science Academy North (Indianapolis, Ind.).
