New Lexington came out on top against Maysville on Wednesday thanks in part to Makenzy McCoy's efforts. McCoy shot 55% from the field en route to 15 points along with six boards and three steals. The performance marked the highest shooting accuracy she has had since back in December of 2024.

McCoy and New Lexington will face off against West Muskingum at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
