Volleyball Recap: Morgin Parsley's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Walled Lake Northern over South Lyon

Walled Lake Northern lost against South Lyon two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Knights fell 2-0 to the Lions.

Walled Lake Northern lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Morgin Parsley, who had seven kills and six digs. She is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had seven or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Walled Lake Northern has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-13-1 record this season. As for South Lyon, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 32-8.

Coincidentally, Walled Lake Northern and South Lyon will both be playing Mott the next time they take the court. The Knights will head out to face the Corsairs at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 10:30 a.m.
