Bensalem extends road winning streak to six

Recap: Bensalem Fighting Owls vs. Central Bucks South Titans

The Bensalem Fighting Owls entered their tilt with the Central Bucks South Titans with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. Bensalem sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 70-68 victory over Central Bucks South on Friday. Given Bensalem's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 37th, while Central Bucks South is ranked 433rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jaidyn Moffitt continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 27 points along with five rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last six times he's played. Antonio Morris was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five assists and three steals.

Bensalem's win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.5 points per game. As for Central Bucks South, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bensalem will take on Wissahickon at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Wissahickon has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Central Bucks South, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Penn Wood at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
