Basketball Recap: P.K. Yonge Takes a Loss

P.K. Yonge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 61-40 to the Hope Academy Trojan Tigers.

Hope Academy found their leader in sophomore Domiya Foreman, who went 12 of 20 on her way to 31 points in addition to seven steals and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Foreman has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Anai Braxton, who went 6 for 11 on her way to 17 points.

P.K. Yonge's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Hope Academy, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-7.

P.K. Yonge will venture away from home to challenge Eastside at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hope Academy, they will welcome South Sumter at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
