Basketball Game Preview: Altha Wildcats vs. Malone Tigers

Altha hasn't had much luck against Malone recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Altha Wildcats take on the Malone Tigers at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Altha took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Friday. They skirted past Liberty County 26-24.

Meanwhile, Malone had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They enjoyed a cozy 46-28 win over Poplar Springs on Saturday.

Altha has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-9 record this season. As for Malone, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-9.
