Soccer Recap: Loretto Takes a Loss

Loretto managed to keep up with Culleoka until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Mustangs lost 5-1 to the Warriors. The defeat continues a trend for Loretto in their meetings with Culleoka: they've now lost seven in a row.

Loretto now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Culleoka, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-2.

Coming up, Loretto will square off against Cornersville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Culleoka, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Richland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Culleoka will be up against Richland's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.4 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
