Football Game Preview: Bluffton Pirates vs. Western Reserve Roughriders

The Bluffton Pirates will square off against the Western Reserve Roughriders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Friday, Bluffton came up short against Columbus Grove and fell 48-38. The loss continues a trend for the Pirates in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost nine in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Western Reserve). They really took it to New London for the full four quarters, racking up a 47-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Roughriders sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Bluffton's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Western Reserve, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.
