Baseball Game Preview: Licking Valley Panthers vs. University School Preppers

The Licking Valley Panthers will face off against the University School Preppers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Licking Valley comes in on ten and University School on six.

Licking Valley is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They won by a run and slipped past Badin 2-1.

Meanwhile, University School owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They walked away with a 4-0 win over Wapakoneta.

Aaron Moss made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Moss wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Bryce Fielding, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

University School's victory bumped their record up to 29-6. As for Licking Valley, their win bumped their record up to 22-6.
