With a playoff game on the line, Mildred rose to the challenge on Thursday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 56-13 win over the Rio Vista Eagles. The victory was just business as usual for Mildred, who after 11 games remain undefeated this season.
Ashton Frye was his usual excellent self, rushing for 62 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception.

Mildred's road trip will continue as they head out to face De Leon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mildred knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully De Leon likes a good challenge. Rio Vista does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
