Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Abernathy). They never let the Olton Mustangs get on the board and left with  a   25-0  victory  on Monday. Considering the Antelopes have won six games by more than nine  runs this season, Monday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Lily Adames made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  struck out six batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Furthermore,  she didn't allow a single  earned run, the first time  she has blanked an opponent since back in February. She was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs while  getting on base  in two of her four plate appearances. The dominant performance gave  her a new career-high in  runs.
 In other batting news,  Rylie Rexrode was a standout: she got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with two  stolen bases, five  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  five  RBI gave  her a new career-high.  Natalie Romo was another key player,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
 Abernathy  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .758. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an  OBP of .500 or higher in five consecutive  matchups.
Abernathy's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Olton,  they are  on  a  25-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.
Abernathy will have a chance to go back-to-back against Olton: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 11:00  a.m.  on Tuesday.
