Savannah has gone 9-1 against Maryville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Savannah Savages will host the Maryville Spoofhounds at 4:30 p.m. Savannah will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.

Savannah will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Saturday, then bounced right back against Gallatin on Saturday. Savannah blew past Gallatin 14-2. The Savages might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 contests by six runs or more this season.

Macee Blythe was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits (and only one walk). Blythe was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with a home run, three runs, and two RBI.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Savannah lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in September of 2023.

Meanwhile, Maryville suffered their biggest loss since September 9th on Monday. They came up short against North Platte, falling 11-4. The Spoofhounds have struggled against the Panthers recently, as their game on Monday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Like Savannah, Maryville also got a great game from a two-way player: Avah Eckley. She pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Eckley was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI.

Eckley wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Brylie Henggeler, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Savannah's victory bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Maryville, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-17.
