Baseball Recap: East Lincoln Mustangs vs. Cherryville Ironmen
East Lincoln proved they can win big last Friday (they won by seven) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past the Cherryville Ironmen 6-5. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Ironmen, too.
East Lincoln got a big performance out of Matthew Phuntek, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-4. Phuntek is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least two every time he's taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was Brandon Washington, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.
