Soccer Game Preview: Lipscomb Academy vs. Green Hill

The Lipscomb Academy Mustangs will square off against the Green Hill Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lipscomb Academy's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Lipscomb Academy came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to Pope John Paul II.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Green Hill). Everything went their way against Dickson County on Sunday as they made off with a 5-1 victory. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Green Hill hit Dickson County with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Carter Foust (2), Holdon Dalton, Ayden Webster, and Anthony Macario Miguel.

Green Hill's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Lipscomb Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
