Basketball Recap: Noah Zeola and Josh King Secure Win for Orange Lutheran

Orange Lutheran picked up another tournament win on Tuesday. They walked away with a 92-83 victory over the Sonora Raiders. Given the Lancers' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 25th, while the Raiders are ranked 85th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Orange Lutheran was led to victory by Josh King and Noah Zeola. King posted 25 points, while Zeola had 24 points. King's evening made it nine games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Kam Young was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Orange Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Sonora, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 7-2 record.

Orange Lutheran and Brea Olinda will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th. As for Sonora, they have already played their next matchup, an 83-71 loss against Rancho Verde on the 10th.
