Softball Game Preview: T.C. Roberson Rams vs. Pigeon Forge Tigers

The T.C. Roberson Rams will venture away from home to square off against the Pigeon Forge Tigers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. T.C. Roberson has given up an average of 9.2 runs per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

North Buncombe hit T.C. Roberson with a four-run second inning last Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Rams lost 11-1 to the Black Hawks. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Black Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Pigeon Forge faced off against Northview Academy on Friday. The Tigers came up short against the Cougars, falling 13-3.

Pigeon Forge saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madison McFadden, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Pigeon Forge's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for T.C. Roberson, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
