It was a good run, but Starmount unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the North Stokes Vikings by a score of 2-1.

Starmount's goal came courtesy of Amy Ocampo, who's now up to 16 this season.

Starmount's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7-1. As for North Stokes, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3-4.

Looking ahead, Starmount will head out on the road to square off against Alleghany at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Alleghany's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. North Stokes does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
