Basketball Recap: Pana Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Pana entered their tilt with North Greene on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 52-45.

North Greene's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mya Forrester, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 14 points and six rebounds. Forrester is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games she's played. Layna Bushnell was another key player, dropping a double-double with 11 points and ten boards.

Pana's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for North Greene, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8.

Coming up, Pana will face off against Athens at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North Greene, they will take on Pawnee/Calvary/Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
