Baseball Recap: Ridgewood Comes Up Short

Ridgewood lost against Ramapo back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Maroons took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Ridgewood now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Ramapo, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridgewood will take on Kennedy at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The Maroons are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Ramapo, they will face off against NV - Old Tappan at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The Golden Knights will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Raiders surely won't give up without a fight.
