Basketball Game Preview: Cypress Creek Bears vs. Freedom Patriots

Cypress Creek is on a seven-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, Freedom a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The Cypress Creek Bears will host the Freedom Patriots at 7:30 p.m. Cypress Creek is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.5 points per game this season.

Cypress Creek saw some tournament action last Saturday. They took a 64-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Jones.

Despite their defeat, Cypress Creek saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. William Luis III, who posted 11 points, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Navaris Mora, who put up ten points.

Meanwhile, Freedom came up short against Tavares on Monday and fell 67-54.

Cypress Creek's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Freedom, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Cypress Creek took their win against Freedom when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 68-48. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Freedom's Elijah Perez, who had 17 points.
