Volleyball Recap: First Baptist Christian Comes Up Short

First Baptist Christian lost against Marquette Manor Baptist Academy back in October of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Knights took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Minutemen.

First Baptist Christian may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 20 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-20.

Emma Ciancio paced First Baptist Christian's offense, picking up three kills. Ciancio got some help from Bella Ciancio and her six assists. Cami Froman controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

First Baptist Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Marquette Manor Baptist Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3-1.

Coincidentally, First Baptist Christian and Marquette Manor Baptist Academy will both be playing Logos Christian Academy the next time they take the court. The Minutemen will host the Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Knights will host them at 4:30 p.m. on the 7th.
