Eastern Hancock waltzed into their match on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Edinburgh Lancers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Eastern Hancock took both sets by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-14.

Josie Hunt paced Eastern Hancock's offense, picking up nine kills. Hunt got some help from Karly Lowes and her 17 assists.

Eastern Hancock's victory bumped their record up to 21-4. As for Edinburgh, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Eastern Hancock wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Northeastern on the 27th. As for Edinburgh, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Crothersville on the 25th.
