High school football rankings: Cody tops Wyoming Preseason MaxPreps Top 25

Class 3A finalists Cody, Jackson Hole begin season at top of state football rankings.
The two teams that finished in the championship game of the Class 3A playoffs begin the season at the top of the MaxPreps Wyoming Preseason Top 25 rankings. Cody defeated Jackson Hole (Jackson), 34-13, in the final and starts at No. 1.
Cody defeated Jackson Hole twice within a month last year, topping the Broncs 48-6 in conference play and again three weeks later in the championship game. The title was the third in seven seasons for Cody. Jackson Hole's only losses in state came to Cody and it had a 21-14 win over Powell, which begins the season at No. 3 overall.
