There's no place like home for Superior, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Chippewa Falls Cardinals with a sharp 6-1 victory on Saturday. Considering Superior's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Superior's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-3. As for Chippewa Falls, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Superior is set to face off against their familiar foe Eau Claire North at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Chippewa Falls will take on rival Hudson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
