Volleyball Recap: Waukesha West Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Mukwonago

Waukesha West faced Mukwonago in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Wolverines came up short against the Indians, falling 3-0. The Wolverines just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Waukesha West took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-22, 25-23.

Ryan McMahon paced Waukesha West's offense, picking up 16 kills. McMahon got some help from Cooper Maddern and his 31 assists.

Waukesha West's loss dropped their record down to 15-18. As for Mukwonago, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Waukesha West nor Mukwonago have any future games scheduled.
