There's no place like home for Peotone, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Herscher Tigers on Tuesday. The Blue Devils haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

While Peotone won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-22.

Mia Connolley paced Peotone's offense, picking up 11 kills. Connolley got some help from Allie Werner and her 19 assists. Cora Pagliarulo controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Peotone's victory bumped their record up to 20-13. As for Herscher, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-27 record this season.

As of now, neither Peotone nor Herscher have any future games scheduled.
