Volleyball Recap: Sheboygan South's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak at Home

Sheboygan South had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Green Bay East on Thursday. The Redwings blew past the Red Devils 3-0. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Redwings this season.

Brookelyn Bower paced Sheboygan South's offense, picking up seven kills. Bower got some help from Bianca Schneiderwent and her nine assists. Schneiderwent was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Sheboygan South's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-7. As for Green Bay East, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sheboygan South will host West Bend West at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Green Bay East, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Shawano Community at 7:00 p.m. on the 30th.
