Football Recap: McKinley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

McKinley fell victim to Plaquemine and their airtight defense on Friday. They were dealt a 40-0 defeat at the hands of the Green Devils. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Green Devils: they've now lost four in a row.

Plaquemine was led to victory by Spencer Collins and Brennan Miles. Collins rushed for 83 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while Miles threw for 152 yards and two TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes. What's more, Miles racked up 146.4 passer rating, the most he's had since back in October of 2024.

McKinley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Plaquemine, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

McKinley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 14-0 loss against Belaire on the 16th. As for Plaquemine, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 53-21 victory against St. Michael on the 17th.
