Softball Recap: Lakeview Centennial Takes a Loss

Lakeview Centennial fell victim to Wylie East and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 19-0 to the Wylie East Raiders. The Patriots have struggled against the Raiders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Lakeview Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Wylie East, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-5.

Looking ahead, Lakeview Centennial will venture away from home to square off against North Garland at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lakeview Centennial is facing North Garland at the right time seeing as North Garland is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Wylie East, they will take on Abilene in a tournament on Friday.
