Volleyball Recap: Devine's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Devine came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Pearsall Mavericks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Devine was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-14, 25-12.

Devine had a senior duo take command as Kynedie Cruz had 16 digs and 11 assists and Cami Carroll had nine digs and four assists.

Devine's victory bumped their record up to 23-17. As for Pearsall, they dropped their record down to 3-29 with the loss, which was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Devine will head out to face off against Randolph at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pearsall does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
