It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but White Knoll ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They won by a run and slipped past the Batesburg-Leesville Panthers 4-3. This was a revenge game for the Timberwolves: when they faced off against the Panthers last Tuesday, they had to take a 6-1 loss.

The team relied heavily on Cooper Dyar, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
