Baseball Game Preview: Clinton Red Tornadoes vs. Bethany Bronchos

For the second straight game, Clinton will face off against Bethany. Clinton will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Bethany at 5:00 p.m. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Clinton has struggled recently with four losses in a row, while Bethany will arrive with five straight victories.

On Monday, Clinton came up short against Bethany and fell 6-1.

Clinton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ayden Crumley, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Those two hits gave Crumley a new career-high. Easten Powell also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Bethany pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Clinton, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.
