Soccer Recap: Juarez Comes Up Short

Juarez was the 3-2 winner over Little Village when they last played one another back in March of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell 5-3 to the Phoenix on Tuesday. Maylina Diaz probably wasn't too happy after the contest: she scored every single goal for Juarez and still walked away on the losing team.

Juarez's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4-2. As for Little Village, they pushed their record up to 6-5-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Juarez wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Cristo Rey Jesuit on the 2nd. As for Little Village, they have also already played their next game, a 7-0 defeat against Back of the Yards College Prep on the 5th.
