With a playoff win on the line, Archbishop Stepinac rose to the challenge on Sunday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the St. Raymond Boys Ravens 63-61. The win continues a trend for the Crusaders in their matchups with the Ravens: they've now won four in a row.

Archbishop Stepinac got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Hassan Koureissi out in front who posted 13 points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Adonis Ratliff, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and ten boards.

St. Raymond Boys lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Brandon Stores, Jr., who dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten rebounds. His big performance that afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Luis Carillo-Moss was another key player, going 7-for-16 on his way to 19 points and seven boards.

Archbishop Stepinac's record is now 25-4. As for St. Raymond Boys, their loss dropped their record down to 17-13.
